CDC own and operate a range self-elevating jack up barge platforms ranging from 35 through 450-ton payload units.
Our units are used in a wide range of deployments as platforms for capital dredging, drilling, testing and monitoring operations.
CDC jack up units are able to stand firm on the sea floor on spud legs that are moved up and down hydraulically to provide a firm footing. Once in position the platform is lifted clear of the tide to provide an “air gap” between the bottom of the work platform and the expected wave heights. The jack up unit configuration provides a work platform that is far more stable than other semi submersible style units.
