CDC operates a number of spilt hopper barge units in their fleet ranging from 250 to 800cm3 total hopper capacity. These units come in two configurations, split hopper type where the port and starboard halves of the barge split longitudinally between the end bulkheads and bottom discharge type units where hopper doors open downward. The units referred to in this section are not self propelled please refer to CDC self-propelled split hopper barges for details.

RHR
The 40m long “RHR” is configured with six individual bottom discharge hoppers that operate in tandem when being emptied. The RHR has a total payload capacity of 550cm3 or 937 tons fully laden.
