Soundchem I, II, III
Included in the CDC fleet are their three identical sister ship, self-propelled split hopper barge units Soundchem I, II and III.  These vessels are European built and are fitted with 195kw Caterpillar engines. The Soundchem units have a maximum payload of 360cm3 and are purpose designed to transport dredged material from the dredge site to the deposition area with maximum productivity. The split hopper is hydraulically operated for maximum reliability and improved cycle time turnaround.
